Doctor Who Roundtable with Steven Moffat @ Comic Con

I'll be the first to admit, I really like Russell T. Davies. I'm not an avid RTD fangirl like some but I'm also not calling his episodes crap or saying, "Gee I'll be glad when the Vast ToffeeMN (credit to DWO Whocast) steps in."

However after watching the Roundtable from the SDCC I'm starting to like him. He makes a lot of wonderful comments regarding the Time War, the Paul McGann Doctor, the Doctor being half-human and yet still maintains that "modesty" that we came to expect from RTD. I also laughed hysterically when someone asked if RTD left with any parting words. His response: "He hasn't left yet!"

Comparing the Time War to the Clone War from Star Wars was also a great thought as I've always been of the opinion that although it COULD look awesome, it is going to be highly political and would stand out far to much to be a Doctor Who episode. Like the Doctor's name it's never going to live up to our expectations!

Then he drops in something along the lines of it appearing in audio if anything.

I'm sure Nick Briggs was bouncing with excitement merely at the thought.

Overall with the exception of his avoidance of questions regarding spoilers for the specials or Series 5, I found the roundtable highly informative. Sure a lot of the info I already knew but Steven Moffat's responses were different enough from RTD's and the press's that I found myself glued to the screen.

I'm curious to hear other people's opinions on this roundtable. Did you enjoy it more or less then the Torchwood Panel with John Barrowman, Julie Gardner, Naoko Mori, and Gareth David-Lloyd? Did you find that you came to think more highly of Steven Moffat afterwards like I did? Or did his avoidance of questions bug you?
