Yeah Terry rented Destroy All Humans! for Playstation 2, 'hence the title of this entry. I meant to tell everyone that I got a job the other day, I start Wednesday which is just in time to catch on the tips that "Old Home Week" gets from all the tourists and whatnot. Here in Parrsboro during Old Home Week they have:
A Fair (with rides and cotton candy)
A parade
Old Home Week pagent
Little sidewalk sales
Teas, Strawberry socials (food stuffs)
Three dances (children, adult and teen)

Yeah, it attracts a bunch of american and german tourists every year and this year working at the restaurant in town that offers "fine-dining" I'll be able to make some good tips even if the pay is only minimum wage ($6.50 an hour) Luckily unlike my first waitressing job I get to keep my own tips. (last year some group of teens from New Jersey left a $20 tip at my table but I had to split it. Hopefully it happens again. Bwee.

It's almost 5 AM, I should go take my allergy meds, birth control and go to bed.

Yay popping pills.

Wow. Splitting tips? That's weird. We do it on the bar when there are two bartenders, but never for waitressing. Good luck with the new job, anyhow. :)

yeah last summer there was like 6 of us and we had to split tips. It sucked, horribly. Two people wouldn't be that bad but all the tips from the bar and the dining room went together each night for EVERYONE working, even the kitchen staff. x_x
