Grendal knows tricks

Thanks to some really good chicken dog biscuits Grendal's learning to do some tricks. His "act" includes:
- sit
- down
- paw
- other paw
- Rise (giving both paws and rising up on back legs)
- Speak
- Touch
- Crawl

Crawl & Touch are the two we're working on now, Crawl looks adorable as he army crawls across the floor. I want to teach "roll over" and "Praise Allah" (Head between his paws while lying down) but that's going to take time.

Here, for your viewing pleasure is a poor quality picture of Grendal taken the day of his neuter. Surprisingly he's completely healed and has been for about a week now.

I'm glad his neuter went through alright, that he's all healed up proper--and awe, sleeping puppy still gets me every time. Such a cute baby.

It's not that I don't love you anymore it's that I'm working everyday, pretty much all 8 or 9 hour shifts. (we're super understaffed)

When I do get home I update LJ/IJ and read some fanfics but that's about it. I'll make a point of going online Wednesday since I have it off.

Yeah I have to get more pictures, when my old roommate comes over I'll snatch her camera and get some pics of him doing tricks.

The family is good, Terry and I have been discussing getting married once we're financially stable (w00t) and there's plans to get a house soon. The critters are all good too, except for the spats between Nemesis and Buddy over which one of them is ruler of the kitchen counter. (Nemesis despite not having claws always wins.)

I'm glad to hear that, Xan. You guys are good for each other, and it'll be nice. I wish you all the best for it, and oh my god, you're such a cute couple -anyways-, the whole house-thing will just be amazing.
