Stupid road.

Last night Terry and I were walking Drake (my hound) and Spike (coy/husky mix) and we were zig-zagging across the road at like 2 am because there were no cars. I decided to take Spike back to the other side in case some maniac decided to speed down the road without giving us warning. Well, I was jogging to get Spike to come back and guess what happened? I took a mistep, went off the edge of the asphalt and landed my left foot into a pothole. I went down twisted my ankle, took my shoe off and road-rashed my leg. Ow.

I went home crying (Terry pretty much carrying me) and we iced my ankle, disinfected my road rashed calf and he proceeded to treat me for mild shock. (Warm blankets etc) when I felt better he made me mushroom rice my favorite dish ever.

Today, I went to the hospital and found out that I sprained my deltoid ligament, a ligament that runs over the top of your foot from the ankle and now have it bandaged. I have to walk on crutches and take uber-advil, some word that starts with N.

I now have two boo-boos.

Ouch. ♥ I hope your foot heals up okay. I've sprained my ankle more times than I am count and most of the time I'd just have to limp and cry around on it.
